How do I allow Photos access?

At first launch, choose limited or full access in the iOS prompt. With limited access, PhotoSweep analyzes only the items you select. You can add or remove items, or change permission in Settings > PhotoSweep > Photos.

What does “Verified Exact” mean?

PhotoSweep reports an exact resource only after the required data was read and verified. An unavailable item, including an iCloud item, remains Unknown and is never presented as exact based on an estimate.

Why is an iCloud item Unknown?

The original may not be on the iPhone or the network may be unavailable. PhotoSweep fails closed: the item stays Unknown until Apple makes the required data available after your request.

How does deletion work?

You first inspect the review queue. PhotoSweep then asks for the Photos system confirmation. Confirmed items move to Recently Deleted, where Photos shows their recovery period. Always check the selection before confirming.

What is included in the free tier?

Photos access, scans and rescans, results, categories, explanations, swipe review, and the complete Review Queue are available for free without an item quota. PhotoSweep Pro is offered only when you choose to execute the final cleanup. Closing the offer preserves your prepared queue and deletes nothing.

Which Pro plans are available?

PhotoSweep Pro offers monthly and annual subscriptions only, with no free trial. Apple displays the applicable price and terms before purchase. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings.

How do I restore a purchase?

In the PhotoSweep paywall or settings, choose Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Apple Account. StoreKit then reevaluates your active subscriptions. If the network is unavailable, try again after reconnecting.
