PhotoSweep Privacy Policy

On-device processing

PhotoSweep indexing, comparison, and recommendations run locally on your iPhone. PhotoSweep uses no advertising or behavioral analytics service and does not transmit your photo library to Eternity Labs.

Photos access

PhotoSweep uses Apple PhotoKit APIs after you grant permission. You can allow limited access to selected photos or full access, update your selection, and change permission in iOS Settings. PhotoSweep works only with items iOS makes available to it.

Data stored locally

To resume an analysis and explain results, the app may store technical metadata, thumbnails, cryptographic hashes, Vision FeaturePrint results, verification states, and preferences on the device. This data remains in the app’s local storage and can be removed by deleting the app and its data.

iCloud Photos

When an original is required but not available on the device, PhotoSweep may request it through Apple Photos/iCloud services only after an explicit action from you. The file travels through Apple infrastructure and is not sent to Eternity Labs.

Purchases

Monthly and annual subscriptions are offered through StoreKit. Apple handles payment, renewal, cancellation, and restoration. PhotoSweep checks the purchase state supplied by Apple locally; Eternity Labs creates no PhotoSweep customer account and performs no individualized purchase tracking.

Deletion

Deletion requires your decision in PhotoSweep followed by the Photos system confirmation. Deleted items move to Recently Deleted under Apple’s Photos behavior and may remain recoverable for the period shown by Photos.

Data we do not collect

PhotoSweep includes no ads, tracking SDK, analytics, or account creation and uploads no photos, thumbnails, metadata, hashes, or analysis results to Eternity Labs.
